In this episode of The Notable Woman Podcast, I interview Sophia Simon-Bashall of the hurricane pod.
In this episode of The Notable Woman Podcast, I interview Sophia Simon-Bashall of the hurricane pod. She shares her story of living with mental illness and how her podcast creates a community for others living the same life. Sophia is fabulous for many reasons, but what I love in particular is her mission to show that you can survive and thrive and cry with mental illness and there doesn’t need to be a heartwarming story about you beating it. The story can be that you’re living.
This is a great episode for everyone. Period, the end.
IN THIS EPISODE, I EXPLORE:
- About Sophia
- Why Sophia loves music and how it helps her
- Why she started the podcast
- Why it’s important to tell the stories of people with mental illness who are living their lives
